An Amish Builder from Western Montana built this log home in 2006. Located on an 85-foot shoreline on a mountain lake with a perimeter of 22 miles. You are a quick 10-minute drive from the beautiful national forest Ross Creek Cedars. You are also close to other scenic areas such as the Yaak, Kootenai River, and North Idaho.
Tourists are not common, so please be respectful to the locals in the area. You are in the mountain wilderness, and you will see wildlife. Be careful!

Located about 30 minutes outside the small town of Troy, it is the perfect place to get away, relax, and have some fun for all ages. Whether you’re enjoying a home-cooked meal, warming up by the fireplace, or enjoying an afternoon beverage on the deck, this home is lovely. It features beautiful mountains, greenery, and a lake view from nearly every room in this private home. The house is 3000 square feet and has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. This well-appointed home is beautiful, comfortable, and clean, featuring large windows with great views and ample room for everyone in your group. This home is in a great location and smack in the middle of many mountain lakes, a few small towns, rivers, and creeks you can float down or fly fish on, such as Bull River nearby. The main floor of the home has a welcoming entry to the center fireplace. The kitchen features everything you need to dine in and opens to the beautifully appointed living room with access to the large deck and all featuring stunning views. Up the stairs from the living room, you will find two bedrooms. The main bedroom features a king-size bed, a private door to the deck with beautiful mountain and lake views, and a fabulous ensuite bathroom with an incredible soaking tub with a showerhead. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, 2 of the bedrooms each have a private balcony, with one of those rooms being a large bedroom with two twins and an ensuite bathroom with a large clawfoot tub. Also upstairs is a workspace and the laundry room.
Here, you will be situated just a few minutes from Bad Medicine Campground with swimming access, accessible boat launch. Halfway House Bar and Grill on Highway 56 has excellent food and service. You might get lucky and be staying during a time there is an event outback. In the summer, hit the trails for a hike, take a kayak out on the lake, or golf nearby in Libby. In the winter, hit the slopes on Turner in Libby or head up Keeler Mountain in Troy for some incredible snowmobiling.
